Midland Christian Academy
Welcome to the Midland Christian Academy website!

You have made a terrific choice in seeking more information about our services. MCA is a place where love is an action, not an emotion (1 Corinthians 13:1). It is the abundant harvest of the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Our commitment to the families we serve is all encompassing and our daily inspiration. We are partners in the education of children honoring and supporting parents by sharing our experiences as parents and teachers. The MCA staff has a true calling to provide the highest quality education possible to the students we serve (Colossians 3:23-24). We strive in every way to treat each student as a being created in the amazing image of God (Genesis 1:27).

What sets us apart is our unique educational philosophy. Although the curriculum here at MCA is very rigorous, we honor the one and only childhood of each student by keeping high standards of behavior but allowing safe play and healthy interaction with others both young and adult. School is meant to be inspiring and fun—a place where students are not afraid to ask questions and take academic and intellectual risks. We seek to identify the gifts in each child and use them to strengthen their challenges (Romans 12:4-8).

Biblical principles are the core of our teaching (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Each subject is taught with a biblical premise. We offer specialized music, art and P.E. in addition to the core subjects. Our fourteen teachers have collectively almost two centuries of teaching experience! The student staff ratio is 9.5:1.

MCA is sponsored by the Midland Church of the Brethren but is a non-denominational school. Our staff are Baptist, Brethren, Methodist, Catholic, Assembly of God, evangelistic, charismatic—one body with many parts all working for the same goal (1 Corinthians 12:12-20, 2 Corinthians 5:9). All children from all families are welcome (Matthew 19:14) regardless of church affiliation or family condition.

We welcome the opportunity to show you around and introduce you to our children. They are the testament to our work.

Won’t you join us?
